Nut Free Facility
Due to the increase in the number of food allergies, Beautiful Beginnings is a Nut Free facility. We ask that all parents please follow this policy to ensure the safety of all children attending the center. All nuts- peanuts, almonds, cashews, etc. are prohibited. Please by mindful of this policy when providing your child’s lunch or any birthday treats. If you have questions about what items are safe, please contact a Director.
A Note About Nutrition
Beautiful Beginnings is part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program administered through the US Department of Agriculture. All menus follow CACFP nutritional guidelines. Beautiful Beginnings will provide cereal for children arriving between 6-7:30am. Breakfast will be provided for all classrooms(school age during no school days), lunch, and afternoon snack. Parents may also provide a sack lunch for their child if they do not wish their child to eat what is being provided. Menus are posted outside of all classrooms, as well as, by the parent welcome table.
If your child has specific nutritional needs (food allergies, etc), special accommodations will be made for your child. This may include specially prepared food, menu substitutions, or alternative products. All children will still be guaranteed a nutritious meal that meets all CACFP requirements. Beautiful Beginnings strives to work with families to accommodate special dietary concerns.
